Lesson learned: Don't wait until a few days before Christmas to buy your decorating sugars and such for cookies because they will be sold out.

Lesson learned: Look in cupboard before going to the store to make sure you don't already have above mentioned sugars.

Lesson learned: Baking soda becomes bad before it actually expires, causing extremely flat cookies.

Lesson learned: Check your pockets before washing and drying your clothes.
