What is it?

Do you ever look at something so often or so long that you finally see the beauty in it? Well, this is something I stare at each day, over and over, and still cannot find the beauty in it. I do try.

This is the back splash in our kitchen. It clashes with everything. I have gotten used to it being "present", however I wish I could change it. The sad thing is, the only way to properly fix this problem is to take it down, except, whoever put it in, placed it behind the cupboards. I've thought about trying to paint it. We'll see what the future holds...
